Intensive Advanced Course for Middle Level Dancers On Scholarship Basis

Aiming at inculcating the spirit of Guru Shishya Parampara, an internship course is undertaken by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre. This is a Three-Year Intensive Advanced Course.

Course Overview

Since 1987, the Odissi Research Centre has trained talented students in Odissi dance and music from different regions of Odisha, providing a stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month. Seats are limited: 10 in Dance and 10 in Music.

Eligibility to Apply

Age: 18 – 30 years
Graduate in Odissi dance/music from a recognized University OR 5 years of training under a recognized Guru
Minimum educational qualification: Matric
Candidate should be able to perform and know theoretical aspects of Odissi dance/music
Permanent resident of Odisha

Procedure to Apply

Apply on plain paper.
Provide graduation certificate or proof of training under a recognized Guru.
Attach minimum educational qualification certificate (Matric).
Demonstrate knowledge and performance in Odissi dance/music.
Proof of Odisha residency.
